The Craft
Mortise, tenon, dovetail — and a finish rubbed in by hand.
Every Zuri Wood piece begins at the log. We select sustainably harvested timber, air-dry it for up to two years, and let the grain decide the design. Nothing is veneered, nothing is hidden — joints are cut to be seen, and the natural variation of each board is treated as character rather than defect.
Finishing is entirely manual: layers of natural hardwax oil worked into the surface, burnished between coats, so the wood keeps its texture and deepens in tone over the decades it will spend in your home.
